Telfair Museums consists of the Academy and the Owens-Thomas House, both historic landmark buildings, along with the contemporary Jepson Center. You might also enjoy exploring the Ogeechee Canal Museum & Nature Center with over two miles of hiking trails, of which a portion are included in the well-known Coastal Birding Trail.
Enjoy a stroll through the downtown Design District for eclectic shopping and don’t miss stopping in at a few of the fabulous art galleries. Pop into Lady and Sons Restaurant for lunch of Paula Deen’s culinary delights. Don’t miss the over 300 year old Cathedral of St. John the Baptist for incredible restored architecture.
